Acne Blemish Spots - Natural skin care treatment - Rhassoul Clay

I have been contacted today by a recent customer who had purchased some of my Rhassoul Clay to help treat her son's acne, he has been so delighted with the success of using this pure natural mineral, that they have purchased some more.
So this is what has prompted my blog for today, Rhassoul as I mention many times, is a truely unique natural mineral.
To treat acne or blemished skin, it is ideal to use as a daily cleanser on the effected areas, complimented with treatment masks on the areas as well.
  • Cleanse daily
  • Treatment masks
To prepare, simply take a spoonful of the powder clay and add a few drops of previously boiled and still warm water. DO NOT stir, simply leave and allow the mixture to absorb the water, it will swell in size. After a few minutes stir gently.
This can be prepared in advance and left in a bowl covered with clingfilm, or a jar with a lid.
Application:
Simply apply to the affected area, as a treatment mask, apply and leave for approx 10 minutes or more if you wish.
To remove, wash with warm water and pat dry.
As a daily cleanser, it gently massage into the skin and wash off with warm water
Certainly I have read and received many complimentary comments from happy customers who have been delighted with the results.
The successful effects as an anti - acne agent and skin emollient have been registed by Ecocert which is the French equivalent to our Soil Association.
You will read in my many posts about Rhassoul just how outstanding a natural organic product it is not only beneficial for the treatment against acne, but also ideal for sufferers of eczema and psoriasis, along with other skin conditions.

deal for people who are allergic to Soap, or simply wish to use a chemical free method of cleansing their body and hair. See my other posts as a natural and chemical free method to cleanse your hair.

I have put a link to my website for full and further details about this fantastic natural product.

Kiddies Milkshake Bath Treat - Make your own skincare Products

This is a great way to make your own skincare products for the younger members of the family! This will encourage any reluctant children into the bath, and is especially kind to their skins as it only contains natural ingredients,no harsh chemicals at all! It can easily be adjusted as well to your child's favourite colours! Help them to make up a batch and they will be running to fill their bath !
Milk is not only beneficial to drink, supplying our bodies with vitamins, minerals and calcium, but is also easily abosorbed by our skin too! Therefore it is as effective being used externally. Not only good for our bodies, but is also extremly kind and gentle, as well as conditioning and moisturising our skin. It is an ideal natural bathing ingredient. I particularly like Goats Milk, as it is extremly kind to sensitive skins.
Recipe One
100g x Powdered Goats Milk - Great for sensitive skins and eczema or psoriasis sufferers
1 tbsp x Natural colouring of your choice
Natural Colours include:
Cocoa powder - coffee to brown depending on how much you add to your milk
Paprika - peach shades
Cayenne powder - cinamon shades
1) Simply sieve your powdered milk into a large bowl and sieve your powdered colour and mix thoroughly with a spoon.
Tip
Remember, the colour will not look anything like the finnished colour whilst it is still in powdered form, once wet this will show you the final depth of colour. Add more powdered colouring to create a stronger finnished shade.
Fizzing Milkshake
To help make your milk shake bath time have a little bit of a zing to it, why not add a ratio of Citric Acid and Sodium Bicarbonate to your powdered Milk Shake. Add a ratio of 3 - 1, which is 3 tbsp of Sodium Bicarb to 1 tbsp of Citric Acid, and sieving and mixing with your powdered Milk. Run your bath with warm water and add a handful of your bath milk shake mix and swish and wait for the fizzing fun begin!
Cheat's method
You could cheat a little and add some of your child's favourite 'Milk Shake Powder' which will create some great colours too! Yummy Strawberry - pale pinks to red! Mint for lovely green shades and they will smell fab too! Don't forget you could use any form of 'powdered milk as well. The benifit to using powdered milk is that you can store this for a while (if your children will let you keep it!) Using fresh milk of course will have to be used straight away.
Recipe Two
100ml x fresh milk
1tbsp x food colouring of choice
1) Simply whisk your colour into your milk.
This quantities will make approximatley enough for 1 bath, but make up larger quantities and store your powdered milkshake a nice muslin bag, or wooden tub and let your little ones, help themselves. I would not recommend storing the Milk Liquid shake, simply make up and use.
This is a perfect accompaniment to some really great 'Wibbly Wobbly Jelly Soap' which was first made by Lush ( I believe) and is really easy to create yourself and is great fun for the kids to make also, (with a little adult supervision).
One last warning, with any colourings, you may risk colouring your bath as well as your towels, so perhaps do a little test first!
Have fun.
