Layered Bath Oils are just gorgeous to look at, devine to use and also very easy to create at home. These can also make lovely gifts at any time year, however they are very popular at Christmas! Red looks brilliant and especially if you use Red Cosmetic Glitters and a beautiful rose essential oil fragrance, perfect !
I love to keep old pretty bottles and recycle them by creating my own skin care products and glittery layered Bath oil just looks great. Plus by co-ordinating your fragrances to colours, i.e. Strawberry and colour red, these really enhance your finnished skin care products.
Important Tip Never use too much colourings, as you risk dyeing your bath, yourself and your towels! Ingredients: 8 drops of food colouring 4 oz spring water 4oz Sweet Almond Oil 8 drops of essential oil or fragrance oil Cosmetic Grade Glitter (colour to co ordinate) 1) Add your coluring to your spring water and stir until the colour is fully dispersed. 2) Add your fragrance oil to the Sweet Almond Oil. 3)Using a sterilised bottle, pour your coloured water first into the bottle and leave to settle. 4)Pour your fragranced Sweet Almond Oil into the bottle and leave to settle. 5) Add your cosmetic grade glitter to the bottle. Voila ! Your very own layered bath oil. To use your oil please note to use sparingly as with any bath oil you do not want to leave a film of oil on your skin and your bath!
